How to choose the right material?

Choosing the right material depends not only on appearance, but also on purpose, place of use, desired result, and budget. The same idea can often be created using different materials, so we help select the option that best fits your project.

You can use these simple guidelines:

  • If you want a clean, modern look — acrylic is often the best option.

  • If you want a natural, warm result — wood, plywood, or MDF are often suitable.

  • If personalisation and uniqueness matter most — natural or artificial leather is often a good choice.

  • If your project is related to packaging, decor, or invitations — paper and cardboard can work well.

  • If you are unsure about the material’s composition or suitability — we can help assess it based on your idea or reference.

If you are unsure, simply send a short description, photo, sketch, or file, and we will help you choose the most suitable solution for your needs.

Important to know

Not all materials are suitable or safe for laser cutting. Some materials need to be evaluated before production based on their composition, surface, or intended use.

If you plan to use your own material, we recommend discussing it in advance. This allows us to assess whether it is suitable for engraving or cutting and what kind of result can be expected.
