How Pricing Works
Every order is different, which is why the final price depends on several important factors. Below we explain what has the biggest impact on laser engraving or cutting costs and what information helps us prepare a more accurate quote.
What affects the price?
The final price usually depends on:
- the chosen material
- the size of the item or engraving area
- quantity
- design complexity
- file preparation needs
- whether the project requires engraving, cutting, or both
- production timeframe
The more accurate information you provide in advance, the faster and more precisely we can evaluate your request.
Material
The price depends on the material used for the project. Different materials vary not only in cost, but also in processing requirements, engraving quality, speed, and complexity.
If you do not have the material yet, we can recommend a suitable option based on your idea, budget, and desired result.
Size and engraving area
When evaluating pricing, we take into account:
- the dimensions of the item
- the engraving or cutting area
- the layout of the design
- the number of fine details
Quantity
A one-off custom order and a larger batch are priced differently. For bigger quantities, we can often offer a better unit price, but the final amount still depends on the type of project, material, and production time.
If you are planning a larger order, it helps to indicate the approximate number of units in advance.
Design complexity
Pricing is also influenced by how complex the design is. Simple text or a basic logo usually requires less preparation than a highly detailed, intricate, or specially adjusted file.
The main factors here are:
- the number of fine elements
- the complexity of lines and shapes
- whether the file needs additional editing
- whether the design needs to be adapted for engraving or cutting
File preparation
If the file is properly prepared, we can provide a quote faster and more accurately. If the file needs to be edited, redrawn, or adapted for production, this may also affect the price.
If you are not sure whether your file is suitable, you can review our File Preparation page or simply send us the version you have and we will help evaluate it.
Engraving, cutting, or both
If the order is urgent, this may affect the price. Rush order availability depends on the type of project, scope, and our current workload.
If you have a specific deadline, we recommend mentioning it right away when submitting your inquiry.
Urgent orders
How to get the most accurate quote
To help us prepare the most accurate quote possible, we recommend including:
- the desired size
- the material or type of item
- quantity
- the engraving or cutting area
- a file, logo, photo, or sketch
- your preferred deadline
If you do not know all the details exactly yet, that is completely fine — approximate information is often enough for an initial evaluation.
A clear quote before production
Before production begins, we provide a clear quote and confirm the key details. If needed, we review the file, clarify technical aspects, and help you choose the solution that best fits your project.
Our goal is to make sure you know what to expect in terms of both price and result before production starts.
Would you like an accurate quote?
Send us your idea, file, or the main details of your project, and we will prepare a quote based on your needs.
