File Preparation
To help make quotation and production as smooth as possible, we recommend sending the clearest file or visual reference you have. Below you will find the main information about suitable file formats, quality, and how to prepare your design for laser engraving or cutting.
What file formats do we accept?
For the best result, we recommend sending vector files, as they allow more precise preparation for both laser cutting and engraving.
Recommended formats:
- SVG
- AI
We can also accept:
- PNG
- JPG
PNG and JPG files are often suitable for engraving, but for cutting or highly precise work, a vector file is usually required.
What is the best type of file?
The best option is a clean, well-prepared vector file in the correct size. If the project is intended for cutting, it is especially important that the lines are clearly prepared and the design is created at real scale, or at least includes the required dimensions.
If the file is intended for engraving, it is important that:
- the text is clearly readable
- details are not too small
- photos or artwork are sharp enough for a good result
Jei failas skirtas graviravimui, svarbu, kad:
- tekstas būtų įskaitomas
- detalės nebūtų per smulkios
- nuotraukos ar paveikslai būtų pakankamai ryškūs
If you are sending a photo or image
If you do not have a vector file, you can send:
- a phone photo
- a logo image
- a screenshot
- a sketch or reference image
In this case, the clearer and higher quality the image, the better. Low-resolution, blurry, or compressed files may limit the final result or require additional file preparation.
What information should be included with the file?
To help us evaluate your request faster and more accurately, we recommend including:
- the desired size
- the material or item to be engraved, or the material to be cut
- quantity
- where the product will be used
- your preferred deadline
- whether you need engraving only, cutting only, or both
If you do not know the exact details yet, approximate information is absolutely fine — we can help you refine the rest.
If you do not have a ready file
That is not a problem. If you only have an idea, photo, sketch, or reference, send it to us. If needed, we can help assess whether the file is suitable, what should be adjusted, and which option would work best for your project.
Before production, we review files and confirm the key details to reduce the risk of errors and help ensure a clean final result.
